Who am I?

I have 30+ years of experience as a Business Consultant and CEO of small and medium sized companies. I love getting inside how businesses work and supporting leaders to make these companies the best that they can be.

Why I love what I do?

I love creating the culture in a business that unleashes the power and impact on business results of high-performing, ‘can-do’ and outcome led teams. Not only is it fun, but the momentum feels awesome.

An interesting fact about me
I travelled around the world with my wife and 3 year-old daughter and I wrote an amusing book about our time in India. The book is a very, very well-kept secret rather than a best seller!

Who am I?

I have 20 years’ experience in Admin, HR and Operations roles and am responsible for building the foundations and infrastructure of the business.

Why I love what I do?

I love a process (no, really LOVE a process!) and enjoy supporting the team with process’s which underpin the business. I relish the challenges and celebrations of being a part of this exciting and developing business.

An interesting fact about me

I love moving house, everything about moving house. I have lived in 21 properties in my life in various cities and am always thinking about the next move, although when I moved to York over 20 years ago, this is where I decided to settle.

I have been the consumer and the provider of HR services, and I care about what makes you and your organisations tick. I have also been part of the set-up of a start-up SME through to an established larger corporate business. I understand your frustrations and successes and can translate and interpret those at all levels.

Who am I?

I am Jazmine and am a HR Business Partner. I have worked in HR for many years in both public and private sectors.

Why I love what I do?

I love being able to help people realise their potential. I love creating processes/frameworks and can appreciate a good HR ICT system. I love being able to utilise my problem-solving skills and I love learning new things and sharing knowledge.

An interesting fact about me

I enjoy travelling and my current personal goal is to visit all the countries in Europe. So far, my favourite European country that I have visited is Switzerland because the scenery is stunning, and my favourite European city is Prague. I live in York and regularly visit London (where I am from), the Lake District (for the hills) and Edinburgh (because it’s lovely).

Stephen Balfe

Who am I?

I have 30+ years’ experience as a business development consultant, with the last 18 years focussed within the HR and Employment law outsourcing industry. Having been responsible for running an SME business along with various senior management positions spanning my career, I now use my collective experience to help SME organisation better understanding their key responsibilities and how to delegate and avoid the costly pitfalls which employee relations can bring.

Why I love what I do?

I love knowing that through the support services we offer, that we do genuinely make a huge difference to our clients and their bottom line, through helping reduce management time deliberating on situations and scenarios that can often ‘bog down’ a business and take the business mindset away from their priorities of running and growing the company, thus, helping our valued clients reduce costs on dealing with the day to day HR and often what can prove to be complex matters through our professional and expert advice team.

An interesting fact about me

I am a former world karate champion, and UK martial arts hall of fame inductee. Having spent a life in the study of martial arts, I hold black belts in various disciplines including Shukokai karate, Goshin Jitsu, Kickboxing and Freestyle karate, with my highest rank being a 6th Degree Black Belt.
