The HR People Update June 2021

A round up of people news and developments in June for your business.

Covid 19

The guidance is still that you should continue to work from home if you can. In certain areas where the new variant is spreading fastest, the guidance has been changed to avoid meeting inside, keep 2 metres apart and minimise travel in and out of the area. The government has advised that those in these areas should get tested twice a week and isolate if positive. At present, the impacted areas are; Bedford, Blackburn, Bolton, Burnley, Kirklees, Leicester, Hounslow and North Tyneside.

  • More family friendly
  • Improving work life balance
  • Attracting top talent
